After a few days of friendly pressure in order to make this classic cartoon available, I managed to put in a place so it can be downloaded:
EL MONO RELOJERO (Quirino Cristiani, 1938) It is quite nice to be able to see this film. The version here is a Spanish print and Cristiani probably added the opening Cifesa logo. Cifesa was a company that distributed Argentine productions in Spain. Fortunately, the distributor did not dubbed the original soundtrack and it is great to be able to enjoy the work of Pepe Iglesias again, in his first film. I want to end this post with an acetate from this film that was preserved by Juan Oliva, one of the animators.
